With high resolution optical system & latest biometric technology, Fin'Lock FS20 Fingerprint Access Control System provides enterprises a secured but convenient access and attendance control solution at lower cost.
FS20 can operate in both Local and Network mode. With standard Ethernet interface, FS20s can be connected as a cluster in LAN/Internet under the control of a single Fingerprint Authentication Server(FAS) which is a proprietary software running on MS Windows.
In network mode, fingerprints can be stored and recognized in the FAS which can handle unlimited number of fingerprints. In local mode, each FS20 can store up to 500 fingerprints itself and can be used as a standalone access and attendance control device.

Internet Ready Management consoleBioAuthorizeET can be web-enabled to help companies monitor personnel movement across multiple locations.
Integration with existing applicationsFS20 can be easily integrated into any existing application used by an organization with respect to attendance, payroll and HR. This is a great advantage to organizations already using these applications, as the HR administrators do not need to disturb their existing practices.
The software consists of three modules namely BioAuthorizeFS20 Registration, BioAuthorizeFS20 and BioAuthorizeOA Management Console.
Registration ModuleEmployees register through this module by entering Employee Code, department and other relevant details. During registration employees are required to 'scan' their fingers on the sensor 3-5 times. The process ends when they get a message “‘xxxxx’ registered successfully”. FS88/FS80 can be used for registering the fingers. However FS20 itself can be used for registering
BioAuthorize FS20 ReaderHere the user walks in and places his finger on the scanner of the FS20 reader. The fingerprint is then scanned and the fingerprint identified. It then displays the employeecode of the employee on the LCD. Various statuses like In and Out can be configured using the keypad options.
BioAuthorizeOA Management ConsoleThis module allows administrators to manage information with respect to employees, departments, shifts, activities, leave, holidays and any other organizational activity that needs to be tracked with respect to the employees. The following are some of the reports that can be generated from BioAuthorizeET:
1. Employee based Activity reportFS20 can work both in network and a stand-alone mode. In Network mode there are no limitations on the number of users. In stand alone mode FS20 can store 500 fingerprints.
Can BioAuthorizeET work with a dead finger; plaster case mould of a finger or a fake fingerprint? No. BioAuthorizeET works with live fingers alone.
Can BioAuthorizeET work with a fingerprint impression lifted off a surface? No. BioAuthorizeET works with fingerprint impressions captured by FS80/FS88/FS21M/FS20 alone.
Can fingerprints captured by FS20/FAS be used for authorized access to other systems?Fingerprints registered by BioAuthorizeET are encrypted (one-way irreversible encryption). This prevents misuse and unauthorized access to other systems that use fingerprints for authentication.
How many fingerprints can BioAuthorizeET register for the same user?FS20 currently supports the registration of 3 fingers per user.
How are fingerprints stored in the BioAuthorizeET database?BioAuthorizeET stores a fingerprint as a mathematical template. This data is 128-bit one-way encrypted. Fingerprint images are not stored in the database. This prevents abuse of fingerprint data.
Can a picture of the employee be stored along with the fingerprint?Yes. This is available as an optional feature.
